Medi-Cal Mobile Crisis Training and Technical Assistance Center (M-TAC) Learning Management System (LMS)

This LMS will be your central hub for accessing Medi-Cal Mobile Crisis Training and Technical Assistance Center (M-TAC) trainings, earning continuing education hours (CEHs) and certificates of completion (CoCs), and engaging in interactive learning experiences.

The trainings available on the M-TAC LMS are developed for California counties and mobile crisis teams to support the implementation of the Medi-Cal Mobile Crisis Services Benefit.

Overview of CEHs

The Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS) is a certified continuing education unit provider through the following organizations:

  • California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals: includes CCPS, CADC-CAS, CADC I’s, CADC II’s, CCS, CA CCS, CCJP, CCDP, CRPM, and LAADAC

Participants in live M-TAC trainings can request CEHs at no cost. Information about how to request no-cost CEHs will be provided at the end of the training.

Participants who complete the archived online trainings through the LMS can also request no-cost CEHs (except for the trainings on “Appropriate Use of Telehealth for Mobile Crisis Services,” “Psychiatric Advance Directives,” and “Provider Safety”). Participants must complete the full training to request the CEHs.

Please allow up to five business days for all CEHs to be processed.

CEHs are not eligible for the Community of Practice sessions.

Please send all questions regarding the M-TAC CoCs/CEHs to mobilecrisisinfo@cars-rp.org.

Our team can help you with any changes to your account. Please send all questions and requests related to the LMS account to mobilecrisisinfo@cars-rp.org.

CEHs will automatically update with the license number, even if you completed the CEHs before you added the license number to your account. LMS users can access their CEHs and CoCs through the “Transcript” button on the left-side navigation panel.
